Tamás Almási is one of the most well known Hungarian documentary film makers. He has worked as an assistant director with István Szabó, Miklós Jancsó, and Zoltán Fábri. He graduated from Academy of Film and Theatre of Budapest in 1979.
He started his career as a feature film director, which has had a very important impact on his documentaries. His films are all drama centered and he uses strong emotional effects in them.
So far he has made more than forty full-length documentaries and some feature films, which have been screened at a number of highly prestigious festivals in Europe and overseas earning him numerous awards. His films have been broadcast in almost forty countries.
Tamás Almási is also a professor at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, the leader of the documentary film making MA program and also of the Hungarian part of the international MA program DocNomads.- Director

In 1904 he was a member of the Népligeti Színkör (Acting Group of the People's Park) then he entered into engagement in the country as singer romantic lead and theatre director. Later he went to Budapest. In WWI he became disabled. After his discharge he played in Royal Orfeum and Crystal Palace. Later he became an usher of the Opera and movie managing director. In 1915 he established the Balogh and Mogán Co. In 1916-18 he is a director of the Astra Film, in Fall 1919 that of Star Film, between 1920-24 Leading Director. In 1927 he worked in Berlin. In 1941 he established his own film producing company. He belonged to the artists demanding high standards preferring lyric, sentimental topics. He acted as philosophical author as well. There was a time when he led a school of cinema. - Dominik Szoboszlai is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and captains the Hungary national team. A versatile player, he is able to play as a box-to-box midfielder, right midfielder or attacking midfielder.
Coming through the youth system, Szoboszlai made his senior debut in 2017 with Austrian club FC Liefering, the reserve team of Red Bull Salzburg. In January 2018, Szoboszlai debuted with the parent club, becoming a starter from the 2018-19 season. Following three seasons, where he helped his club win three league titles and two domestic cups, in January 2021, Szoboszlai moved to Germany at RB Leipzig, a club associated with Red Bull Salzburg, for a reported fee of EUR20 million, making him the most expensive Hungarian footballer of all time. In his three seasons at the club he helped his side win two DFB-Pokal titles. In July 2023, he joined Liverpool after they paid his release clause of EUR70 million, making him the club's fourth-most expensive signing of all time.
Szoboszlai represented Hungary internationally, both at youth and senior levels.
